Where have I been?

My last blog was on May 16, 2017. I stated then I was transitioning to the editing phase. Well, that was true and I just transitioned out of the editing phase. The m/s was sent to publishing and it was returned for a one character misprint due to spelling a numeral and having their editors changing it to actually displaying just that number.

Editing is reading the m/s slowly one sentence at a time. Then, reading the whole thing backwards from the last page, one sentence at a time.

Editing is reviewing the best choice of each word in the sentence. When you send your work out to another shop for an opinion, be ready to edit your response. Write On!
